PSHCE including Relationships and Health Education

Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education, (including Relationships, Health and Sex  Education) is vitally important to support the wellbeing of children and forms an integral part of our curriculum.  It is essential that all children develop and appreciate the knowledge, skills and attitudes which will contribute to their physical, mental and social wellbeing. This subject  also serves to keep children safe and secure in their daily lives, future lives and online and have the tools to find help when needed.

PSHCE is taught as part of our Enquiry based curriculum and also as discrete, stand alone lessons. Years 1 to 6 teach on a thematic basis; Health and Wellbeing, Relationships and Living in the Wider World using the PSHE Association Curriculum Guidance.  These themes are further explored across the school within our daily school assemblies.

If you would like to discuss our PSHCE and Relationships, Health and Sex Education curriculums with us, please make an appointment with the school office.
