Reception

We follow the Newcastle City Council's Policy on school admissions into the Reception class. Click here to get information on how to enroll your child into Reception.  The places for Reception 2024-2025 will be allocated by the City Council and must be applied for online at Newcastle.GOV.UK | Apply for a School Place by 15th January 2024.

In year transfers

An in year admission is when a parent wishes to apply for a place at a school outside of the usual admission date at the start of the academic year.  This can be because the child is moving to a different address or is new to the country or can be for other reasons.  These moves usually take place during the academic year, which is why they are referred to as “in year” admissions.
