Homework is an important aspect of maintaining home - school relationships, supporting parents  with their child's education and encouraging the development of key basic skills.

Homework will be set in each class and is recognised as a valuable aspect of a child’s education.

Homework can be any work set by the teacher for the whole class, small groups or individuals and may include:

• Regular spelling lists
• Daily reading (your child's reading diary should be signed regularly by a grown up at home)
• Number work
• Enquiry based activities
